Private Sessions - Dr. Wendy Ying, DVM MS TCVMP

Dr. Wendy Ying is the veterinarian at Holistic Veterinary House Calls, has a Masters degree in Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, Veterinary Chinese Herbalist, Tui-Na Practitioner and Food Therapy Practitioner.

She has a great interest in sports medicine, pain management, neurology and rehabilitation. Her master’s thesis focused on using laser acupuncture to reduce stress in horses while traveling and competing. She also has a lifetime of horse experience and holds USEF national championship titles in both combined and pleasure driving.

Possible Subjects to Cover: 

  • Dr Wendy offers acupuncture, chiropractic care, herbal therapy, food therapy, laser therapy, rehabilitation programs, nutritional and wellness consults for horses.
  • Her private sessions (that you can attend with your horse, a demo horse or without a horse) include case history review
  • Traditional Chinese Veterinary exam including constitution (personality) evaluation as well as guidance on how to do tui-na and acupressure on your own horse as well as herbal and food therapy recommendations. 

Can I bring my horse to The Movement 2022?

Yes, for the first time you will be able to bring your horse and book individual sessions with Monty and other experts for Sunday, June 19th. Contact Adam Bates at to reserve your stall.

What if I don’t have a horse or can’t bring my horse?

You can book one of our horses from the Monty Roberts Mustang & Transition Horse Program for the individual sessions.

What if I fall in love with one of the horses from the Monty Roberts Mustang & Transition Horse Program?

We get it, it happens to us all the time! All horses from the program are available for adoption.
