"Bravo to the Movement!!!"
"I have attended "The Movement" five times and loved it every time. The people I meet are really nice and accepting which, as an autist, is like finding gold nuggets. Monty attracts the best people and being with them is paradise for me. His system for handling and caring for horses is a revolution that I hope spreads to all aspects of society."
"Spectacular presenters. Can’t wait. Bringing friend. Ada Gates"
"I thoroughly enjoyed this 2 day event. It was my first time experiencing Monty Roberts in person, and I appreciated the balance of topics between a deeper understanding of ourselves as humans, cultivating a healthier awareness and way of being with ourselves and one another, and our understanding and relationship with horses in service to the horses' health and quality of experience."
"Movement Weekend was everything I was looking forward to; inspirational, fun, informative, and beautiful. I enjoyed making new friends that care about the welfare of horses as much as I do. I practiced deep belly breathing with my horse today and using the dually halter. We had one of our best afternoons together. Thank you for giving me tools to grow and build a better horse/human relationship. I appreciate everyone who made the weekend so wonderful."
"As a local SYValley Resident, I wanted to see Monty in action. I was so impressed by the warmth of everyone there and I was truly impressed by Monty’s horsemanship. I took away a clear understanding of things we do right on our ranch and furthermore deepened my love for my horses and our bond. Thank you so very much for your hospitality and your energy!"
"Thank you so much for the opportunity to attend The Movement online. I had always wanted to attend in person, but financially it wasn't possible. So I was very grateful this year that the lower ticket price made it possible for me to learn from Monty and all the other wonderful presenters. It was a dream come true for me and I loved every minute of the three days. I don't have a horse, I am just a horse lover and animal communication student. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I learned so much and also felt an emotional healing as I watched the horses throughout the event. I am very grateful for Monty, his family and all the presenters and how they shared their knowledge about horses and how to make their lives better"
"Incredibly honored to hear the wisdom and gentle soul of a great man at a great event! If you missed this- make sure you put it on your calendar for next year!"
"I thoroughly enjoyed this 2 day event. It was my first time experiencing Monty Roberts in person, and I appreciated the balance of topics between a deeper understanding of ourselves as humans, cultivating a healthier awareness and way of being with ourselves and one another, and our understanding and relationship with horses in service to the horses' health and quality of experience. I have been a Life & Wellness Coach for over 20 years now, supporting others (and myself) in living a conscious, connected, healthy, meaningful life. My focus has been working with trauma, teaching emotional integration, and somatic work. It all stems from a space of unconditional love and presence with our mind/body/soul experience. And I have to say, that I had a powerful epiphany after watching Monty and his team work with the horses, and the Join-Up process. It has changed the depth and quality of my presence and connection with myself, my body, and my own understanding of how I engage with life. I also realized that I had a respect and compassion for the horses that I wasn't allowing in my own relationship with myself and my body. Within my empathy for the horses, it opened an empathy for my own humanness, allowing for a deeper connection. And later, when I showed up for myself and allowed my body to "join-up" with me, instead of trying to manipulate or lead it, that my nervous system relaxed, and I more naturally opened more fully into myself and my experience. It is difficult to explain in words, but I look forward to learning and exploring more, and deepening my relationship within myself, others, horses, and life itself :-) Regarding feedback for growth and improvement with the event itself... I would have liked the program to have stayed more to the format and topics it scheduled. For example, Calm Your Horse With Breathing, I was really looking forward to this. I would have liked for him to more specifically address, explain, and demonstrate the details of how this works, and how to utilize it. He spoke of it a little bit on the first day, and of course was using it throughout the event, but this was an important topic for me being a Breathwork Facilitator myself, and I was looking forward to him speaking about it during the allotted time. However, it was more story of something else, and he then went right into the gentling of the wild horses. I loved it, but simply was really curious about the breath aspect. I also had questions for the Q&A, but there really wasn't an opportunity for that or to ask the speakers specific questions like I hoped. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I am grateful to the Roberts Family and Team for offering this powerful, and important event. Thank you so very much!"
